this is my earth day poem
you can tell by the title
your a poet, so it makes sense
to write an earth day poem
you have people sending you
earth day greetings, calling them
mother earth day greetings
which makes perfect sense
because it’s not just earth day
it’s mother earth day
so I get to thinking about
mother nature and mother earth
nature not being limited to this planet
or even this solar system, or galaxy
so my earth day poem (this poem)
is going to celebrate the physical world
and how sweet and lovely all form is
when left to express itself naturally
reflecting the divine mother, love
for love it is that makes for
all bonding, all gathering
all connecting, all dwelling
all comfort, all grace
